Veneers

Look in the mirror. Smile.

Do you have partially broken teeth, large gaps or poorly formed teeth?

Veneers could be for you. Veneers are thin, custom-made shells crafted of tooth-coloured materials designed to cover the front of teeth to improve the overall appearance. They are made of either thin plastic resin or porcelain and can be placed to:

  • correct poorly formed or mildly mal-positioned teeth
  • close gaps between teeth
  • mask internal stains
  • restore partially broken-down teeth

Tooth preparation is minimal and confined to the enamel structure (top layer of tooth). The veneer is bonded to the tooth structure with tooth-coloured resin cement. Several visits are necessary to complete treatment.

Patients should be aware that this is usually an irreversible process because it’s necessary to remove a small amount of enamel from your teeth to accommodate the shell.

We also offer SmileFast.  SmileFast is a modern twist on conventional veneers and the best part is you get to physically try on your smile to perfect it before it’s fitted. Find out more

Remember. Think ahead – Teeth whitening!

If you are also interested in teeth whitening, remember to tell your dentist before you start your veneer treatment. Your dentist can then match your veneers to your new tooth shade. It may be too late after, or cost you more to have new veneers to match your new shade. Think ahead to save yourself money.

Give yourself confidence in your smile!
