Lifestyle tips for healthy teeth (body, and mind!)

Taking care of your general health as well as your oral (mouth, teeth and gums) health is the key to making the most of your smile.

You can help to keep your teeth healthy by brushing your teeth twice a day with fluoride toothpaste and having regular check-ups with your dentist. But don’t forget diet, smoking and drinking alcohol also have an effect on dental health.

HEALTHY EATING IDEA FOR KIDS AND ADULTS ALIKE

Spring Recipes for Adults and Kids

It’s always hard to get a healthy meal that both Adults and Kids will love but we think we’ve found one or two!

Herby Spring Chicken Pot Pie.

Rice Pudding is a great dessert.  It has less sugar than many desserts, especially if you make it from scratch and control the amount of sugar added.  There are many recipes online for you to follow.

If you get hungry between meals, reach for the more ‘tooth kind’ snacks such as:  Cheese, celery, carrot sticks, apples, nuts, bananas.

Water is the best drink to have if you’re looking after your teeth – still water, not fizzy!

Enjoy!
